Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the average measurements of a fashion model? I searched on the Internet, but, strangely enough, I couldn't find anything much about it.

The average height for a female model is between 5'8" and 5'11" and for male models it is 5'11" to 6'1". Body proportion is key with measurements of 34-24-34 for female models being considered the most desireable. The average BMI for top models is 16.3 (healthy is between 18.5 and 25).

It's mainly about being taller than 5'7" and having 90cm hips (it's all about the hips!). Ideally waist should be around 60cm. A lot of girls have smaller frames, i.e. hips=86-88cm, but it varies from model to model and the agency would always advise on this individually.
