Nail designs for short nails?

I LOVE nail polish but I do have really, really short nails. They're not longer than the tips of my fingers. Does anyone know any designs that you could do on tiny nails? I've seen rainbows and stripes and they are cute but it's so hard to do anything on mine. I bite them and most of the time I don't even realise. I have tried that yucky tasting nail stuff that is supposed to stop you biting your nails but it doesn't stop me. x

I've seen some nice nail designs for short nails, you could do strawberries where you paint your nails red and then paint the tips green like a strawberry stalk and put little dots over like the pips on a strawberry :) there's also a nail varnish called Barry M Instant Nail Effects which you can buy in the Uk (I don't know where you're from) but you paint it over your already painted nails and it cracks to make a black pattern, like tiger print, you might want to google it to see a picture of what it looks like :) I hope this helps you!

I have short nails, and these are some of my past designs.



I've had a design once where I did a different smiley-face for every single nail. My thumb would have a frown, my index would have a smiley face with a tongue sticking out, my middle finger would have a wink, and so on forth.



Another design I had was where I spelled my name out on each hand. Since my name is five letters long, it worked for me. My thumb was J, my index was A, my middle finger was I, and so on forth, haha. You don't necessarily have to use your name, just find a five letter word and it can look really cute.



Oh yeah, my friend has domo-nails. They're really cute.

You can also just paint your nails a solid color and add a little floral effect in the corner. Here's an example, but it's with spider-webs.

I bite my nails too. You could use fake finger-nails, stripes, polka dots. It doesn't really matter what people think, its about how you feel wearing it :)

Well long nails are attractive... but to make it look sexy, put red nail shine on.... now thats attractive hun!

Women who else have nicely manicured long nails, regardless of whether they are natural or not will always get my approval. My spouse has long nails and it tends to make her hands look sexy and feminine.
