Whats with all those Hot Topic and Hollister people hate?

Ok most girls that wear those kinda hot topic clothing just automatically hate people who wear hollister, or the other way around.
I think its stupid because you don't even know the person and your judging them by their clothes.
And my two best friends wear one of those stores and they are always trashing eachother and its soo annyoing! I dont even know why i posted this but I just needed to vent lol...

well, i think it's more just a first impression thing. like if you're into one kind of style and then you see someone in the opposite you're just like "wooaahh, okay then." i mean, i'm friends with someone that never shops at hollister or a&f but they are basically the stores i shop at the most but when i first saw her i was like, "interesting style much?" you have to give them a chance but first impressions are....well..first impressions! i mean, people that wear hot topic (to me) are fine, i mean, i'm nto a huge fan of chains or studs or gothic things or punk or whatever it is and sometimes i think it's weird but you know, i'd give them a chance if they came up and talked to me.

That is kind of stupid.It's just a clothing store not the end of the world. I guess they hate each other because people who shop at Hollister are supposed to be preppy and the people who shop at Hot Topic are supposed to be the opposite of preppy.

i admire warm subject remember and that i do no longer care what all and sundry says. i do unlike each and every thing factor there although. i might by no ability positioned on lots of the kinda revealing stuff there, yet thats because of the fact that's in basic terms no longer my type. I hate it while people call you this stupid labeling crap like "emo" or goth" in basic terms through type you costume. I costume how i desire, and what I costume like is me... and that's not a stupid label. Emo is truthfully a sort of song besides. i think of the labeling crap has to end. i don't have an issue with the way the employees costume the two. that's their type, in basic terms go away them on my own approximately it. i detect the employees there quite positive then something. The song can get a sprint loud in there although.. don't get me incorrect.. i admire screamo... yet from time to time that's somewhat distracting while i'm attempting to talk to somebody or perhaps in basic terms think of. Lol and relating to the 3OH3! youngster shirt... i detect that extremely humorous too. I additionally observed some Linkin Park and green Day little youngster shirts! Even Disturbed.. hahh! although, maximum sons and daughters do no longer hear to that variety of song, my little brother does. So he grew to become right into a sprint chuffed when I informed him they now have Linkin Park and green Day shirts in his length. that's in basic terms approximately like he's a mini me ha ha(: besides... i admire warm subject remember.. the twilight stuff is in basic terms getting stressful... yet I anticipate now that twilight has been out for a on an identical time as.. it may commence dying down. And if it would not, i'm completly avoding the twilight section.. no longer that I by no ability did or something XD!

You're right, it is stupid. Where you bought your clothes and how much you spent has little to do with your personality ( although styles of clothes and personality and social place and all that jazz are interconnected). It might be what the clothes and the stores symbolize socially to people that makes them hostile to people who dress differently.

I hate both stores. Yeah, its so funny. Like one of my friends likes Hollister, the other Hot Topic, they argue whenever we all go to the mall

Personally I think the clothes from both of those stores are just horrible quality which is why I don't shop there but I agree it's immature, tell your friends to stop being stupid.

Hot topic was never my style (but I do have a zebra tank that I love)

Hollister I love but it is getting soooooooooooo old and everybody on the face of the earth wears it.
