Do girls really care about a chipped tooth?

Question

A few months ago, I chipped my bottom front tooth on a frozen candy bar. The dentist said that it's fine, and I can get it fixed in a few years. However, I have seen some distressing posts on Facebook and Twitter.

First of all, this one girl posted on Twitter "Ew, I hate guys with yellow and chipped teeth." retweeted four times by girls in my grade!
Today, a girl posted on Facebook "I can never date or talk to a guy with bad teeth" and got 11 likes and a bunch of "I know right?" comments.

Is this really true? . . .

If it's really noticeable, yes. But you might be able to pull it off, if it's on the bottom..

If it's just chipped, that's perfectly fine,

Though if your teeth are really yellow, you might want to start brushing them more often. xD

But if someone has a nice personality, I wouldn't give two shits about how ****** up their teeth are.

Personally, I can't stand bad teeth. BUT chipped teeth isn't the worst. It's yellowed, stained and not straight teeth that I can't deal with. Those sound like harsh comments that they're making, especially over one tooth.

Maybe they won't like it, but they should at least be understanding about it. It's not like you purposefully did it.

a chipped tooth isn't bad at all but yellow teeth show that you don't take care of Hygiene. You might want to get a whitening toothpaste for that.

Dont listen to those hags. Im not gonna lie to u, its not attractive but just develop a nice personality that will make up for that meanwhile. And why cant u get it fixrd earlier?

it's yellow teeth that are bad not chipped, especially if it's on bottom don't worry bout it

It's fine,honestly! That's so mean that those girls would say that! Your fine,it's at the bottom so it's probably not even noticeable!

Well it would be pretty noticible, but they care more about you having clean teeth for sure.
