Bath and body works or body shop?

Question

Both are very similar but yet different. I've been too both and I might say body shop. Bath and body works is fun but I found out that body shop has more natural ingredients and they said they were against animal testing while the bath and body works said it wasn't tested but on their website or label it doesn't say on some protects apparently (for what I heard) . But I find bath and body works is cheaper and more fun though.

Which do you prefer?

The Body Shop. It's all Community Trade items, so money goes back to the areas from which the ingredients came. And they're big on supporting charities, like Somaly Mam. About 15 years ago, they had items for HIV-AIDs awareness and now more of the money goes towards awareness about violence against women and children. So that's part of the reason why I shop there. While the scents aren't as numerous as the ones from BBW, it's more "adult" (I'm 29) and muted, so I prefer those items. And I like that I can choose different skincare items, makeup, perfumes and home fragrancing. BBW doesn't have many skincare items as they used to in the past.



Bath and Body Works used to sell many other brands that I liked. Over the years they've stopped selling most of the brands not specific to BBW so I don't shop there as much. Now, I only go there for hand sanitizer and the occasional body cream or body spray. I love the scents there, but a lot of them are too sweet for my liking.

I prefer Bath and Body works because I think they have more variety and obviously the prices are cheaper. They also have constant sales or promotions so that's why I like it. But if you're looking to buy makeup products that are.... healthy for the skin, then probably the body shop. Both are good but personally, I like Bath and Body Works better.

They both are good.

The body shop have really good skin care products, while bath and body works' products are more for body (good fragrance).

Chose the body shop for your skin care products and bath and body works for shower gels, body lotions etc.
