I'm only thirteen.
My eyebrows are a little big or bushy to me, and makes me look stern sometimes, which I obviously don't want. How do you think I could make them thinner? I tried plucking, but that's way too painful and a hassle.
And I don't really want to bother my mom into spending money to do my eyebrows at a salon or anything. But if I have to, I guess I could ask.

You should thread your eyebrows. Threading is a pain free, 5 minute eyebrow touch up that cost under 10 dollars. It removes rows of eyebrow hair fast & simple, & the women doing them fixes your eyebrows so they fit your face shape. I used to have thick eyebrows, (sadness), but I got them threaded & now they're all long, & not thick! Trust me, threading is much better than waxing. First, you don't have to go back until 3 WEEKS later, so there's a big lift off your shoulders. Second, it's about twice as less as waxing, but the results are amazing. Third, waxing takes off the top layer of your skin, & is more painful, but threading just swipes of the hair, & doesn't really hurt at all. Threading gives your eyebrows a touch up, & makes them look natural, without having it look like you actually went to a salon.

1. While standing in front of a wall mirror, create the desired shape of your eyebrow with an eyebrow pencil. You can use a set of eyebrow stencils purchased at a drugstore. A set will have different eyebrow shapes; choose the one that is closest to your own. The other option is to use an eyebrow-shaping guide found in a magazine or the internet.

2. Pluck out stray hairs underneath the eyebrows. This will also form the under shape and arch of the eyebrow. To keep your eyebrows even, pluck a couple of hairs from one of them. Step back and take a look at your work; then move close to the mirror and pluck the other eyebrow, in the same area.

3. Form visible and solid starting points for the eyebrows. If you were to draw an invisible line from your nostril up, the eyebrow should start there. Where the eyebrows should end is a matter of personal preference. Keep an arch in the eyebrows by not shortening the ending shape too much.

4. Use your fingers to push the eyebrow hairs up toward your forehead. (Some people use a brush, but this way is easier.) Use the manicure scissors to trim off the length of the eyebrow hairs that do not fit into the eyebrow shape. This works better than plucking a long hair, which can leave bald spots in an eyebrow.

5. Repeat the process until all of the eyebrow hairs on one side fit the desired shape. Do the same on the opposite side. When your eyebrows need thinning, do it all over again.

You could always buy a home waxing kit, they do them in most shops such as Boots or Superdrug! It may be a little painful but waxing will reduce the size and will look fab!

Waxing, also painful but It works. Or I don't know why but if you rub stick concealer on your eyebrows it makes it look thinner.
