Ok , what do you think? Are professional products REALLY better than their drug store counterparts? I know that the pro's out there will say yes but what does everyone else think? And what is everyone using? I mean shampoo and cond. only ---not styling products. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

professional products generally are better that drugstore products. but these days you can get the salon products in drugstores. woohoo, for cheaper. I alternate between Back to basics vinella plum shamp and cond (it's so awesome) , and Pantene

I believe salon products are much better in most cases. For instance, I've tried almost all the drug store ones such as Pantene, Herbal Essences, Garnier Fructis, etc, and after trying Nexus I found that it is much better. I don't know about other salon brands, but Nexus sure beats those drugstore ones.

I have always used the least expensive products and people can't wait to touch my soft hair and it is shiny and healthy(according to my stylist)

to keep it that way...use heat protector, wash out chlorine asap, use the right brush and comb that don't pull the hair out

use clarifying shampoo(again the least expensive)

keep the ends trimmed

great hair is more than the product...it is also the process of keeping hair healthy

In my opinion i would say that salon products are beetter only because they have been used on your hair already and generally to tell if salon products are good you can ask the owner of the salon what he/she thinks about it ....But then again thats just one persons opinion

I love Suave. I'm a huge money spender on everything else but Suave seems to smell better and make my hair softer and feel better. Walmart and Target brands are great too!
