Has anyone ever ordered from Sammy Dress?
Is this site legit? When looking at certain items, customers leave reviews commenting on size, quality, etc. but the site seems a little too good to be true.

Because of the cheap prices, I ordered from Sammy Dress in the past and all I can say is I wish I had read some more Sammy Dress reviews to find out if this site is legit before ordering. The prices seemed good but you know what they say about things being too good to be true. You get what you pay for. The quality wasn't good and once you wash them, they're even worse.



The clothes on Sammy Dress seemed cheap and stylish and even though I read some bad reviews, I ordered anyway. I was wrong. Firstly, it took a while for me to receive my clothes, way too long. Most companies ship things to you within a week or two, not after a month.



Better late than never, I guess. It would've been okay if the clothes I got was actually good but it wasn't. The quality was really bad. Everything was too small even though I ordered a size up. I didn't think clothes fabric could be so thin and feel so cheap. My dresses and pants were too tight but that was more of a size issue but even if I got the right size, the quality still would've been horrible. My shorts are too tight too, and it had a safety pin at the wrong place for some reason, and that ended up with quite a big ouch moment. - not surprised.

I saw that thread, ignored it and ordered online for sammydress anyway. It seemed cheap and stylish.



But I was wrong. Don't get me started on it. First of all, I chose to take insurance and tracking shipping, and still did not receive any information. There was no way to know if I'd ever get my package, and I got it after 1.5 months.



Well that's not too bad if it's worth it. But out of 4 items that I ordered, just one is decent. Everything is extra small. I ordered one size larger and yet the shirt I got doesn't fit me. And it's horrible quality. It's so bad that I've never seen a shirt that has such thin fabric my entire life. I didn't know it was even possible. My shorts are too tight too, and it had a safety pin at the wrong place for some reason, and that ended up with quite a big Ouch moment.



I would simply never recommend anyone to ever buy anything from there.

I placed my order on 9/24/14 and it is now 9/29/14. My order is still processing as I was expecting, it said 5 to 7 business days to process. I have been using support.sammydress.com to keep in contact with customer service. They have been replying rather quickly to me, and answering any questions I had. Today they told me some of my items weren't in stock, which is understandable considering the time of the season and a few items I ordered were on the front page of the website, though they still should have posted if they were not in stock. They asked if I wanted them to send the others that were in stock and wait for the rest, and said the ones that were in stock would ship within 24 hours. We'll see what happens. I'm still a little skeptical but I've heard good and bad about this website, I'm not too worried about sizing, I'm 5'2 and weigh 105 pounds, I don't think they would be too small on me for the sizes I ordered. Hopefully it's decent quality, I've heard things about loose threads, not a huge deal as long as it's not falling apart. For the cheap prices, I'm expecting the quality to be the same.

Sammy Dress clothing is just as described in the negative reviews above. I ordered 4 tops and not one was as described as for the size as a women's large. Some were huge as for a Goliath while others would only fit an eight year old. I returned them to their "returns department" but I still never received my refund even though I had a USPS tracking number proving it was delivered within the 30 days. They are a rip off scam and to be avoided at all costs. You have no recourse with the BBB or any other consumer protection advocate as they are located in China. Do yourself a favor, anyone reading this, and stay away from Sammy Dress.

Missing items, wrong sizes, VERY disappointed



First off, my order shipped in two different packages. The first one arrived within the 7-10 business days as promised. However, the second package did not come in until 15 business days...very upset that I was told it would come 7-10. Also, when I received the clothes, I was highly disappointed. One dress was past my knees, one dress showed my butt, one shirt showed my belly button, and a medium size pants (which I normally wear small or medium) came up a good six inches off the ground (too short). After of the clothing I order (ordered 7 items total)I can't wear and I can't ship them back because I'm not paying another $20 for that. I also ordered a dress that was never sent. I could only expect that when I order things for a website- at the very LEAST- the exact clothes I placed in my cart be the ones that I actually receive. Just so disappointing that I wasted $70 of my hard working on money on clothes that I can't even wear, can't return, or never received. Will definitely never order from here again. I guess I learned my lesson.

I have ordered from here 5 times now. I will continue to order. I've have read some of the reviews and all I can say is wow. First of all the stuff is coming from China. So as far as I am concerned there is no express shipping. With that being said I live on the West Coast and all my purchases so far have taken 3 weeks to arrive. I did have one issue with my order processing for a couple of days and sent a ticket and was informed some items was out of stock. I simply picked out other items for those out of stock and my order was processed. I see some people have commented about the phone number. All I have to say is be mindful of the time difference. In my case my night is their day. So If you call during after hours you will receive a busy signal or in some cases a constant ring. I like it. It works for me.

I ordered a couple of items, and the order was shipped only after I contacted customer service two weeks after the payment. I received the order in a week after that. The dress was not just the "not good" quality, it is just a piece of junk. The sides of the skirt are of different length, the side seams are crooked and have holes! The bottom trimming is uneven too. The people from China say that there are some companies in china, which buy defected produce from factories in bulk, then fix it a bit and resell. I believe that's what SammyDress.com actually does.

Should have read the reviews first! I placed an order 9/01/14 and it is now 10/2/14. I've emailed once to inquire why my items had yet to be shipped and was told they were out of stock but would be restocking on 9/27/14. The day came and went and it still has not been shipped. After coming across this site I am going to cancel my order immediately.

I placed my order on February 22, 2016. And today is March 15, 2016 and I still have not received my dress. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I will definitely not shop with them again. They now say that its shipped but when I get it I am not excited after reading all of these reviews I am floored. You live and you learn. And I have truly learned dearly I am still waiting everyday watching the mail to see when my package is coming. And the sad part about all of this, is you pay for the shipping and mine wasn't that cheap either. They know where they are located and they should take that into consideration, and let the consumers know that shipping there may take awhile. Because a lot of people don't know this and I was one who didn't. It wasn't until just now I decided to research this company and find out all of this. If they would be honest and upfront maybe they wouldn't get all these bad reviews. I certainly will not ever order from them again.

I placed an order the first week of January and have yet to receive it. I made an inquiry and they claimed all orders in January would be shipped late due to Chinese New Year. Also, when I inquired a second time last week, I received no response??? I think this is potentially a problematic company and will not order again. I've asked for a refund [which may never come] and that should have prompted a response. I will let everyone know if I receive my earrings and what condition/quality they turn out to be. One pair I ordered for Valentines' Day won't get worn this year. Should've gone on over to ever trusty WalMart!

I'd really like the previous reviewers to keep a couple of things in mind. These items aren't sent in a container from China, they're shipped individually, so some patience must be exercised. When the clothing is pictured, it's pressed and modeled--you can't just pull it out of the bag and put it on. And...cheap is cheap. These items are coming from dress mills (or, if you prefer, sweat shops). Personally, I don't buy anything I can't try on and feel first. I've ordered three wigs from Sammydress--they have the BEST prices for wigs--for example, one I bought for around $ 20 was selling on another site for $130. Perfect new quality with no problems.

The clothes look nothing like the photos, only pattern, color, and type; other than that it is cheap fabric that looks nothing like how they present it in the photos.Their sizes are completely off. I followed the size chart when ordering and the items that are supposed to be type ended up being too big and baggy and the items that are supposed to be loose are too tight. If you do not heed my warning and order this trash at the very least do not count on the size chart.



unlike many I did receive part of my order, but wish I hadn't; at least then I would stand a chance to get my money back. These clothes are so cheap for a reason, and they are honestly not even worth the small amount that they cost. I will never wear a single item that I ordered. Terrible, manipulative site! When I first found sammydress.com I was so amazed that there were all these lovely clothes that you can buy very cheaply so I spent hours adding items to my bag. When I finally decided it was time to checkout my items, the shipping turned out to be more than my clothes all put together was! I was shocked so I deleted every item except two; a coat and a pair of shorts. I waited 5 weeks for my items to arrive and when they did I was not impressed. The coat looked like a 6 year old child's coat and was made out of a horrible plastic material and the shorts... The shorts didn't have any way of opening them! They had no hole for the button that was loosely attached. Both items looked nothing like the images I had seen online and they both were a huge disappointment. DO NOT BE FOOLED LIKE I WAS. DO NOT BY ANY ITEM FROM SAMMYDRESS.COM. IT. IS. A. SCAM.

IT SUCKS!!!!! this is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. the order took almost 4 months to arrive, SERIOUSLY! and we had no notice from them until we sent out 3 emails and complaints, then they answered that the items were out of stock. when the order came, we had to pay additional taxes on top, so the price + shipping + taxes ended up to be way expensive and so not worth it. And of course the worst part was the actual item and the online pic had absolutely nothing to do with each other, total disappointment. I am a store owner, and I recently placed a small order of about 12 necklaces with Sammydress and the shipping time was 3 times longer than I was told. I had 2 customers waiting on 2 of them for a special dance so I had to tell them that they would not arrive in time. So I lost a great deal of money because I resale new retail items in my boutique. When I finally received my order. The quality was horrible. They were scratched, broken, broken clasps, stones missing, one was even damp and smelled like mildew! I can't sell that! It was a ribbon necklace. And, to top it all off, one of my items were missing and has just today been shipped from Sweden? Well, I'm not expecting it any time soon, and the quality will not be what I will be able to sell in my store.

I have ordered inexpensive jewelry from another similar site and it was exactly what I expected.

I would say, you get what you pay for, but I would not pay 1 dollar at the dollar store for these if I were able to see them first.

I can mirror the comments left by another customer on a different webpage: "This is by far the worst online purchase I have ever made! The clothes are so cheaply made, they look like Halloween costumes. It s no wonder the shipping costs more than the clothes themselves, so when you receive this price of crap it s not worth the money to mail it back for a refund. please DO NOT SHOP HERE...worst mistake ever" I placed my order on August 11, 2015 received 4 out of 5 items; today, August 26. Also received an email today stating that my purchase has been shipped, I m guessing this is the 1 item not delivered today. The fabric is the worse on all items and I can t even pull the jumpsuit over my shoulders; silly me, I didn t know to order size up, but then again I didn t know that I was purchasing item in another country. Nothing I order is true to size so I m stuck with 2 items I cannot wear, possibly 3 because I haven t received the delayed item shipped out today. The knit cap is the worse and has an odor. I ordered a dress on December 10, 2015 and I still don't have it. Sammydress website says the order is PENDING- it is now December 27,2015. I regret that I didn't check for reviews about Sammydress before spending money with them. The people that are writing great & excellent reviews for this website are obviously fake reviewers and/or Sammydress employees. I received an email to my inquiry about where my merchandise was. The email had a link. When I clicked on the link it said it had expired.

EPIC FAIL. I'll never order from them again.

Having just received a couple of items I ordered sometimes in Jan this year, I would say SAVE YOUR MONEY. It is not worth the expense. The sizes are too small, for starters, workmanship poor (at least for the majority of items I got) and quality dubious. The items look good and cheap, and if you are deceived by their weights like I was, you will be utterly disappointed. I was charged for about 6kg shipping when all the items (8) did not even weigh 1kg!!!! I guess that's where they 'eat'...so while you think you are getting a good deal, you pay more than you would had you just taken your time, gone to a store and bought something worth your time and money.



If you still choose to go ahead, at least you know what you are risking.

Last summer, I too was interested in sammydress, yes it looks legit, I even downloaded their app. I purchased a lot from them, I have both positive and negative. Okay in beginning I got two shirts that I love great quality and exactly how they look in the site. I got a beautiful dress that I plan to wear for prom which I think was a good thing about it. But as I kept shopping, slower delivery, my sister ordered to purses, one broke Immediatly, another is fine. Bought a dress, strings falling out, not good quality. Found a dress I wanted never came because it was not for sale, and I never got the money back for it even though they didn't even send me it and I even waited for the restock date that they told me, all fake. Delivery slow, one of my last times buying ordered another dress, with sizing chart I specifically measured my length and size to make sure it would be fine, got it and it was way to short, had to give it to my sister. Other shirts I got that said where cotton were made of a cheap kind of see through cloth and strings falling out. Needless to say, overall DO NOT BUY FROM them. Yes I did get a few things at a great price that I love, but it is not worth all the agony and so so customer service, also sometimes you don't know who to track from which is what made me worry. I suggest to not start this guessing game. It's all just eye candy until you buy from them. Plus some stuff I got smelled horrible, what else to expect since it came from china.

Lady's this is by far the worst website i have shopped at online! Like The the rest of the crowd i made an order of $34.00 which included insurance and never received my order after contacting them multiple times asking for a refund they said they reshipped it. So there i was waiting another 30 days and no refund . When i contacted them to notify them that i only received one earring out of fifteen I didn't get a reply for weeks until i finally got a hold of pre-sales and they kept telling me to wait a little longer and even twisted the 30days into 60 day wait. So finally i started threatening them that i would write a dispute letter to papal and they asked me for my mailing address. When i told them that's not really reassuring because they never give you tracking numbers and insurance doesn't play a role. I asked them to refund me like all the other companies do back to where i payed from. And they started negotiating with me they said well if that's the case if you don't want it shipped then is $26.00 ok? and i said no way i want all my money back and not a penny more or less. I'm still waiting on there reply but I'm really getting fed up with them i have literally wasted hours and hours online trying to get a full refund and boy are they disgustingly sneaky!

I ordered three dresses in August and received just two of them in October. I was patient seeing where they were being shipped from and just knew I would not being getting my order in a week like they state.The first dress was the one I was really looking forwards in receiving turned out to be a big joke! I was so mad but I was cracking up at the same time! It literally look like a bad halloween costume! It was hideous! The second one was actually descent. I did read all the reviews on all the dresses before I ordered and if you go on the site you will notice they got great reviews which now I think are bogus because I wrote them a very bad review and they did not post it. hi people. I bought 4 pants on sammydress (men trousers) for the first time 1 month ago. After 1 month Im still waiting. only a few hrs ago I received a message saying that they have shipped my items to my country today (New Zealand). the tracking number they provided doesnt exist. Ticket is a waste of time too, they dont reply. Im waiting to see the items, I think this site is a total mess. unless the quality is superb, I would stay away. 3-5 days shipping promised is just s big LIE.

Okay, the Today Show did a whole little segment on online suppliers like this. You need to check out some things before you buy. For one thing, reviews should sound like you and your friends talk. If it's too perfect, it's scripted. I've seen other sites that, as soon as you confirm the purchase and make it official, they generate a review from YOU with your screen name or even real name. Okay, so back to the TV special. These companies are overseas, like China. When I watched it, it was during prom season. Some of the dresses even came with the sequins or whatever in a little bag in the box with the dress. At least they were nice enough to pack needle and thread. On this particular website, I went to the handling and shipping link at the veeeeeerrrry bottom of the page in the very faint font. In there I noticed "a) For USA, Canada, Australia customers, it takes about 7 to 14 business days." Keep in mind, 14 business days is about 3 weeks long--and that's without any holidays in there (Ours or another country's as it's obviously not local). Then, a little ways down you will notice that these are being shipped by the postal service out of Hong Kong.

They are not forced to produce a certain level of product as a producer located here locally. The laws on exchange are different and, obviously, not very strict at all. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do. In the end, if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is, especially with all these different brands on one page...they all decided to have a sale on their new products??. If you didn't have that gut feeling, to begin with, you wouldn't have been out trying to find reviews, also.

Buyer beware.

BTW, to each of you that did get burnt by these people, I am sorry. At least it is so cheap. Try going to the website that actually does provide the item you wanted, and then google for promo codes and anything oyu get, try and enter it at the checkout and see if anything works. I just got a couple items completely free, no ship charge, from rescue the animals. And at justfab i got a $158 bill down to $69. Also, if there's a search field, try searching the word "sample" and after that try "free" and see if they have anything hidden that you can add to your cart just to sweeten the deal.

I just received my order from Sammy Dress. I was shocked when I opened the package that was suppose to contain a light blue alluring spaghetti strap dress. The item I pulled out of the package looked like a dingy worn out blue-green night gown. I contacted Sammy Dress they ask me to send pictures so they could resolve the matter so I sent pictures. When they contacted me back they told me I would be better off to keep the item because I would have to pay the postage to return it and then they would only refund 30 percent of the dress price to me. So they win and I am out my money. But I have a night gown but it looks so disgusting I wouldn't let my dog sleep on it. I also ask them why their clothes do not have tags on them like other new clothes do. But did not get an answer. Learned my lesson.

I ordered 15 articles, payed with visa at advance, they said everything was shipped. The package only included only 7 items. So I paid way too much (also shipping costs) I contacted customer service, filled in a complain, they promiss answer withing 24 hours, it has been already 3 days ago... no answer yet. I've choosen delivery within 5-7 days an paid extra for it, items only arrived after 3 weeks, and then still only half of it. nobody take the effort to tell me what happened with the rest of the items. DHL is saying there is no other package on his way. At their website when I log in, they say everything has been shipped at the same time... I'm getting worried here! I think I've lost over the 100 euros!

I ordered some items off Sammydress. Thirteen days after placing the order on 26th November , 2013 and paying the same cost as he items for shipping they still had not shipped my goods. Their policy said they would ship by the 12th day. On day 13 I wrote them and cancelled the order since it had not been shipped and would not reach me before the time needed.Sammy dress never responded. Days after they sent me a message that they had shipped my order(FIRST SIGN OF A SCAM) I put in another 'ticket' of complaint. They finally responded saying that they would give me a refund but the email failed to give the refund figure. I wrote them again requesting that they clearly state the amount ( SECOND SIGN OF A SCAM) The responded in the ticket that the amount was half of what I spent since part of the order had already been shipped which was contrary to what they stated before by saying my entire order was shipped. When I asked what items they quoted two womens shoes (18.40@ 2)and a pair of $5.00 leggings. For this they charged me US$87.48 ( exactly half the total amount I spent at the store for a total of 8 items bought. I demanded my full refund, they closed the ticket and invited me to rate their service. (THIRD SIGN OF A SCAM) I opened a new ticket. I received another generic email from them that they had refunded me but again no refund figure.(FOURTH SIGN OF A SCAM) I contacted them via the ticket again only to be told that its the same partial refund and that it could take up to 30 days before I see the refund in my bank. (FIFTH SIGN OF A SCAM) At this point I have no items, and no money. When I checked my account and tried to track the items they say they had shipped all I got was a list of the said items and the amount I had paid with a notice saying that the entire order was shipped. There was no date of shipping, date of purchase, NOTHING! (SIXTH SIGN OF SCAM) Sammy dress is an online scam!

I ordered 3 tops from this website. From order confirmation to having the products in my hands took 3 weeks, and I opted for Expedited Shipping (DHL). For all the 3 tops I bought, I read the reviews and made sure they were mostly positive. BIG MISTAKE. only 1 top was exactly as it is in the photo. 1 was about 80% close to the photos, so I'd give it a pass. The 3rd one, however, was definitely not the same top. I would say it is 50% of what it is in the photos. From material, to cutting, to measurement and to the colour of the top, it's all different. I tried to post a review on this one that I didn't like, and the one that I really liked, but only the positive review was posted on their website. Given that the shipping actually at least doubles the original prices of the products, I would not recommend this shopping site.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! Sammy dress NEVER delivered a dress I ordered back in February of 2015. It is now September and still no dress!!!! They are the worse rip off on the web. Too bad I didn t read these reviews PRIOR TO buying a shirt off that stinkin site!!! Wish I had. I only dropped 11 bucks on a button up t-shirt, but when it finally came it was friggin TINY!!! Probably wouldn t even have fit the tiny Asian kid who made it! I ordered a 2XL, and it was maybe a medium at best. They won t do anything to make up for it either.



Don t order from Sammy Dress, you ll be wasting your harded earned dough. They don t give a rip what they ship to you or what you even ordered. Better off just sticking to organic shopping (i.e. go to the actual physical stores and buy em from there), that way you know for sure what you re buying

I cannot describe how big of piece of junk this shirt is. I ordered a Capt America shirt back in the first week of January. Their site claims 8-15 days shipping and then gives you all sorts of excuses as to why it takes a month. I m 6 200-ish pounds...The sleeves come 3-4 inches short on my arms, the body comes down to my belly button and the quality is worthy of...well, the trash can which is exactly where it went. I ll take the $14 loss because it will cost more to ship it back than what I paid...which is what this company COUNTS on. Look around the net before ordering...there are more sites trashing this company than praising it...that should tell you something. I should have researched them more but got hung up on the selection and price...bad on me!



They steal images from other sites " to make it match. I ordered an XL because I don t like these shirts skin tight. It fits like a SCUBA top! Yet another classic example of a Chinese ripoff company! NEVER AGAIN!!!

It's a ghost company. We have ordered 5 items on 12/04/15. On 12/20 I got an email saying that 2 items have shipped and it may take up to 45 days for shipping. We got no explanation on the remaining 3 items. We went on their website and got the phone number for their "Customer Service". A lady with broken English had a recorded message saying "leave a message". We couldn't even leave a message because their mail box was full. Then we wrote them an email through their "Customer support" link on their website. We got a computer generated response and when we wrote back , we got the same computer generated response 4 more times. I have not personally bought anything from SammyDress.com, but I can tell you my reasoning for believing this website is a scam (other than the plethora of comments in this thread).



I work for a carpet store in Southern California. At LEAST three times a week for the last year or so, we have gotten a call from an angry Sammy Dress customer who believes that they are contacting Sammy Dress customer service line. On more than one occasion, I have gotten scolded for allowing Sammy Dress to leave our telephone number on their website. 1) If you cannot get in contact with the business, neither can we. We have tried. 2) Our telephone number is not ANYWHERE CLOSE to the number they have posted on their website. The only similarity our telephone number has to theirs is the area code. Nothing else. Which leads me to believe that Sammy Dress is forwarding some of their calls to our store.



Unfortunately, because no one can get in contact with the business, our phone company cannot do anything about this. There seems to be no suspicious activity on our phone bills. So no suspicious charges - just an annoying amount of angry phone calls from customers that are not ours.



Please, save everyone the trouble and avoid this site altogether! They clearly steal your money and send your calls to a completely unrelated business.

I ordered 3 maxi dresses on June 3rd and received my order on June 25th. Their dresses run small, even though I followed the measurements and converted cm to inches. The quality is basic, something you would find in the mall, the white dress I ordered even though it has a lining was super shear (you could see my panties) so when I wear it out definitely wearing a slip. One dress I ordered a medium, I am a 4-6 petite dress size (U.S. sizing) and the medium was probably equivalent to a small size 2, way tight. Just returning from a trip to the Philippines, I know that Asians are tiny, I bought a rash guard in size XL that fit perfectly. Seriously if I bought and XL in U.S. sizing, it was engulf me. So beware on the sizing, definitely size up one or two sizes and careful about sleeves, Asians have skinny arms.

I try to call their California number and I just get a busy signal. Problem is, I actually can find some really cute things on their site. You can tell by the pictures, they re tailored for skinny young women, but at those prices, I figured I would take a chance. Yes, I ordered from them too. They give you the clothing sizes and you should pay attention to those. A lot of tings are one size fits all but they also give you the measurements for those "one size" if you look closely.

The items came but a month later. I guess it takes a long time to process everything from China to US. Clothes are cheap and shipping is costly. But compare that to the other websites and you will see that others charge a lot on shipping too so it is not really SammyDress' fault. I would not be so harsh to them. They are a good company. You don't have to buy $1,000 worth of products and expect it to be shipped the very next day.

100% scam. That is a fake website pretending to sell cheap merchandise. Any site that advertises merchandise cheaper than the official manufacture's website is a fake site shipping gosh awful crappy knock-offs or simply collecting cash and not even bothering to ship fakes. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever. Paypal can only get your money back if there is money left in the scammer's paypal linked bank account. Scammers know this and will withdraw your money immediately, no money in the account means no possibility of refund for you. Your bank can only get your money back if there is money left in the scammer's bank account. Scammers know this and will immediately withdrawal the money you transferred. No money in the account means absolutely no possibility of you getting your hard-earned cash back. In all seriousness, when something goes wrong, what will you do? You will need even more luck trying to contact EMS when your tracking stops and your "package" is lost somewhere. You could then be really lucky, your "package" is discovered, seized by "customs" and all you need to do is pay even more money via Western Union or moneygram to the "custom's official" who uses a free email address just like that site has a free email address as its contact information. Free email addresses are easy to open and close completely anonymously.

They debited the money from my credit card immediately and then the next day sent me an email saying that I needed to send them a photocopy of a photo ID and the Visa (back and front) used to make the payment for fraud purposes. Faulty item complaints are ignored. Over a recent dress that smelled of old wax & chemicals - I wrote 9 times, over a 30 day period, but got no reply. The previous order I had to request a refund from Paypal. It took me 2 1/2 months to resolve. Once they get your money, they cannot be bothered.

Don t be fooled by the cute photos they use to promote their products. Many of the photos are stolen off of celebrity websites. Then they attempt to knock-off the design. This is one place where they fail miserably. The fabric is thin and cheap and the stitching on the garments is horrible. Even the design of the garment is totally different than what they advertise. I recently ordered from sammydress.com too. They are one of many sites that sell wholesale clothing overseas. I saw the ad on my facebook page and soon checked out the site. I decided to make my order on black friday to get 18% off on my order. I ordered 7 dresses for just $75 and felt like a winner, until They told me about the additional $28 in shipping costs. As an avid shopper, I still felt like for around $100 I copped a deal. So I went through with my order, however a week passed and I never got an email, as I do with other sites to provide me with a package tracking number and exact shipping date. From there I decided to look up some info and reviews about sammydress.com, and my heart immediately sank when I learned about how many other individuals did not get what they ordered, order size/quality was hugely poor, and how it was impossible to get refunded. So I wrote an order ticket to check on the progress of my order a week later. They responded 2 days later to tell me 3 of 7 dresses I ordered were unavailable until 20 more days later. So then I thought, why did I pay $28 for 7-10 day expedited shipping if my order is delayed, they didn't even try to tell me I could be exempt from the fee if the order would now be late. So then I thought, why should I accept that if I pay my hard earned money. So I immediately filed a claim with paypal to demand a refund as well as cancel my order. I kept writing them and writing them doing nothing but demanding my refund until they gave it to me, via paypal, and sammydress customer service. It took a weeks worth of cracking down, but they finally complied, cancelled my order and gave me my refund for delay/ non receipt of full package. I liked they're ability to respond back to all of my claims, but I didn't like how they tried to negotiate a change of order or a partial refund. It goes to show that even the company doesn't stand by their own product because they anticipate the worst and always prepare themselves to mess up your order and nickel and dime whatever funds they can try to keep from you.There are some people that had a positive experience with sammydress.com, but mostly because they were offered free orders in order to do a review, were paid to posts positive reviews online, or just got lucky. I ended up paying the same $ for the same items on sammydress.com on aliexpress.com for close to the same amount with free shipping. I don't advise against shopping on sammydress.com because maybe they are and will get better, but I do advise on shopping only on wholesale sites that provide buyer protection, have more positive than negative reviews, and work directly with their manufacturers. Sammydress.com changes the item description on their site, which makes it hard to find the items anywhere else, but you can find them other places. Be weary of that because that's an indication they are mocking the item by resewing it themselves, which explains why items received look so different or less quality than in the photo. Just be sure that if you do attempt to shop there be prepared for the worst case scenario, and be dilligent about getting proper customer care through both them and paypal if you feel you deserve it.

I haven't ordered from this site yet. I saw a wig I thought looked nice. Strange thing was it the exact wig as the Raquel Welsh wig. In fact, Raquel Welch was the model wearing the wig on sammydress. I checked out Raquel Welch's site. It was the same wig, the same photo of her wearing the wig. On Raquel's site the cost of the wig was $370.60. On sammydress, that same wig, same model (Raquel), same photo, listed the wig for $12.44. I'm sure Raquel would be highly insulted by this. How is sammydress allowed to use Raquel's photo to sell a wig that obviously is not one of hers?

I ordered a set of items about 3 dresses, 4 blouses on Oct 8th. After paying I noticed processing was taking too long so I sent in a ticket to customer service. They responded in 24 hrs and informed me that only 1 item was ready and the others wouldn't be ready til end of month on or around Oct 27th.

I opted to send the 1 dress that was ready and got a refund on the other items that weren't ready. Refund showed up on my credit card in a few days ( paid with paypal). Oh my goodness. Where to start. I discovered Sammydress.com a couple of months ago, and it's where i do ALL of my shopping, from jewelry to dress to shoes. It is a super discounted online store, with prices all under $20, but usually not over $15(the jewelry is an especially good deal, because the shipping is free, so you only pay about $2 for a pair of earrings.) The only downside is that usually, it's a one-size-only deal. You just have to look at the measurements provided and see if they match your own. Also, i ordered a shirt recently, and it took about 3 weeks to get to me. This is because most of their merchandise is shipped from China, and it just takes a little longer. If you don't mind the wait, It's an excellent option. I absolutely love it, and the quality is great too.

I just ordered 2 dresses from here. Here's the truth...The dresses come just takes awhile, they are shipped from China. The dresses are too short for average women. Unless you like looking like a hooch these are not for you. They are tight across the bust, lets face it these are made for short, young, skinny, non busty girls. I was drawn in by the prices and even the outrageous shipping costs justified the $10 bathing suits.
