Over the summer i was really preppy. I bought an l.l. bean book bag and now i hate it. it's pink, which is one of my least favorite colors. My style is more boho now and i really want to make it work with my style. How can i mkae it more boho?

Ok, so here's what you do. Gather up some old skirts and clothes that have more boho style prints. Go to JoAnn's or Micheal's and buy those types of fabrics. RAID the remnant section! At JoAnn's they have a rack of the leftover fabric from the rolls. It's in the fabric section; as someone if you need help. Find accessories that fit your style-buttons, pins, ribbons, w/e. Get some needles and thread and go at your bag. Add patches-if you want, you can cover the whole dang thing with patches. Add buttons, ribbons, tassels, pins, beads, WHATEVER. Boho is kind of being your own person-make it you. Make it your style.

And most importantly, HAVE FUN.

Labels are overrated. Just do whatever you want to the bag without thinking of what "style" it would fit under.

splatter like an off white paint on it so it looks like really worn and cute

maybe put like a handprint on it or something with the paint
