Should pear shaped girls stay away from skinny jeans and jeggings?

I am pear shaped which means I have smaller breasts (A cup) and big hips, butt, and thighs. Should I not wear tight pants becauseI am more bottom heavy? Would that be unattractive?

I'm the same, and I find that white skinny jeans don't look good on me, but black skinnys look AMAZING. Especially if you balance the tight fittingness with a loose top, though a tight top can be pretty sexy for a date night or something. :) Be aware though, skinny jeans will emphasize your butt and thighs. This isn't a bad thing because curves are sexy too, but if that's something you're looking to minimize, then bootcut or flare jeans are a better choice. But I'd say go ahead and show off what you have.



However, even though all pears share similar traits, what looks good on one pear may look bad on another. We all have different bodies. So experiment in the changing room, and wear what makes you feel awesome, and if anyone tells you you "shouldn't" wear a type of clothing because of how your body is naturally shaped, then I would suggest roundhouse kicking them in their jaw. And then I would suggest running away really fast.

It's fine to wear skinny jeans/jeggings as pear-shaped girls. Lots of pear-shaped girls already do wear them, and they look great. If you don't feel comfortable with your shape, you can balance out on top with a low cut neckline. Not too low, though. Something like a v-neck or scoop neck top. But you don't have to worry. Nothing wrong with wearing skinny jeans/jeggings as a pear shape. :)

I'm pear shaped and I still wear skinnies and jeggings, more leggings though. I just tend to wear dresses but I will wear leggings. If you have a big booty you can still wear leggings just wear a top that will cover your bum! :) it's all about what you wear the leggings with! :)

I would say that boot cut or straight leg would be more flattering. I am a size 4, but I do have wide hips and a bigger butt (compared to my upper body) and therefore I tend to avoid skinny jeans because I think the silhouette is extremely unflattering. I also tend to avoid them because I am only 5' 4" with short legs so the combo of wide hips with short legs in skinnies is very bad. Do you have longer legs ? Are you tall ? If so, skinnies will look better, even if you are more bottom-heavy. If not, and you still really want to wear them, you should make sure a) they fit well, and b) that you wear boots or heels with them, and also a longer top or jacket!

Honestly, skinny jeans do not look good on even some skinner people. It just depends on how you wear them. Skinny jeans do emphasize everything. So if you’re not comfortable in them try a straight leg. Or a skinny with flare kick. Try this site Torrid.com, they have some really good jeans. Skinny & flare. (:

Because people tend to be followers.Society pressures women to be skinny ect.. But hopefully its gonna change with plus size modelling and curvy singers like katy perry ect.. You will find a guy that is confident enough and won't care about what his friends think.You want a guy that has his own personality and not an immature boy

Depends on if youre still thin. If youre thin and curvy , with a small waist and big hips, it looks amazing. If you are carrying too much weight in your lower half including your stomach then yes skinny jeans emphasize that. A slight flare evens it out and it would be more flattering

I don't think it would be-leggings & skinny jeans work for alot of people.I think if you wore them w/a tunic style top that isn't clingy it would look good,particularly if it's a style that kind of has a more A-line shape to it

It would be unattractive to most people, but there are men who love that sort of thing, especially if you have a flat belly. In truth, as long as your clothes fit, there is only so much you can do t make your body look any different than it is. Most of the time people with imperfect body types look bad, its not because they chose the wrong clothes, its because they wear clothes that don't fit properly.
