I am looking for ways to get more fit and recently came across an article in British Glamour magazine that had the ideal diet and exercise plan for each body type:
PENCIL - slim with narrow hips, waist and shoulders (diet: include protein and snack regularly)
APPLE - inverted triangle: great legs with a muffin top (diet: low-GI diet rich in good fats)
PEAR - great arms and a small waist, but bottom heavy (diet: low-fat diet with plenty of calcium)
HOURGLASS - perfectly proportioned curves (diet: low-fat and low-GI diet, with lean proteins)
I'm 16 and my body is still growing, but I wanted to know which body type most resembles mine: apple, pear or hourglass? I'm 5'6, and have rather broad shoulders but even broader hips and thighs, so I'm not sure. I also hate exercising (whooo muffin top ¬¬) and usually get frustrated, but finding the best exercise plan for my body type would help keep me in shape.
